Students are expected to sign the Matriculation Oath Form as well as the Matriculation Register, which the Registrar will take back to the University of Maiduguri. Any student who fails to sign the Matriculation Register is not considered a student of the University of Maiduguri and may be advised to withdraw.

A Note on Semester Registration

It’s crucial to note that the Matriculation exercise is not part of the Second Semester Registration. All those who registered with the College during the First Semester are urged to attend this exercise to avoid possible consequences.

This combination of an orientation lecture and matriculation ceremony, topped off with cultural festivities, makes this a highly anticipated event in the academic calendar of ASCOE. It serves not just as an official induction for new students but also as a festive introduction to the rich cultural heritage embodied within the college community.
