(Article)The Silent Death of Fine Arts Education in Secondary Schools!

As a key subject of the Art Department in Secondary Schools is a creative subject called Fine/Visual Art. For many years ago, I had tried to really understand this department when I was in secondary school but I got a whole lot of their data painted in one stroke of a whole paint; Drawing/Painting.

In recent years, that imagination is almost becoming a day-dream. The department of Arts is almost becoming strange even to the students of the department.

Fairly a Quater of the whole of the schools across the Nation can be boastful of having taken classes practically well in this subjects (not talking of the other 3/4) which is outside the box of proper educational scheme and protocols.

This is deeply saddening, terribly unspeakable and leaves an impression of a failing nation in my mind each time I tried to imagine the disadvantages that surrounds such a nation who could not nurtures and help transform the creativity of its citizens and its cultural values only at the expense of other fields of western imitations.

I have noticed even in this Forum, nearly 99.90% of the students who visits, comments and discussed about their schools are from other faculties other than Arts, living Art with a no option than about 0.10%.

This trend has been one big blow of dissapointment not just to me but also to every students with the fresh talents, waiting to be sharpened into a creative tool for the society. Sadly,
