The management of Lagos State University of Education gives priority to both 100 level and final year students before students in 200 level, 300 level or 400 level as the case may be, will be considered. This is because it helps freshers to settle in easily and plan for a new phase of life, easy access to fellow new students, materials, tutorials and lecture halls and this is based on first come first serve basis. I will list the hostel fees below so it is up to you to decide if you are going to be interested in making use of the school hostel or renting a room outside the LASUED campus. Please note that hostel accommodation in LASUED is not compulsory. However, it is advised that fresh students especially stay within the school campus at least in their first year.

LASUED HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION FEE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Below is the hostel accommodation fee for all hostels in LASUED. The hostel accommodation is for both fresh and returning students for 2024/2025 academic session.
Hostel Accommodation Fee is between 15,000 to 40,000 Naira per student depending on the hostel. Please note that the fee state above is an estimate. Always refer to the school portal for actual fee.

HOW TO APPLY FOR LASUED ACCOMMODATION FEE 2024/2025 SESSION
On how to apply for LASUED hostel accommodation fee, newly admitted students are to follow the steps below:
Step 1 – To apply for LASUED hostel accommodation, visit the school portal via: https://LASUED.edu.ng/portal/student-login?log=2 and login with your matric no.
Step 2 – Follow the steps required to make payment.
Step 3 – Take your payment proof (online slip) to the student affairs division for documentation and hostel allocation.
NOTE:
Students that require space in any of the reserved halls should submit their payment slip to student affairs.
Bed space allocation will be on ‘FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS’ as hostel accommodation is limited.
