Aminu Saleh COE continues academic activities amidst protest

The College Advisory Management Committee at its regular meeting held on Tuesday 30th July, 2024 observed with serious concern on the planned nationwide protest by some individuals and groups. The Committee acknowledged the economic hardships faced by Nigerians, but also emphasized on the need for careful consideration of the potential impact of protests on academic pursuits and national stability thereby advises staff and students to embrace peace and dialogue as means of resolving issues.

Similarly, the Provost urge all Students to desist from joining or participating in the protest and concentrate in the pursuit of their education for their self-achievement and national development.

In view of the above, the Provost assures all students that lectures and all other activities will continue as usual without any interruption, as the Management has made adequate arrangement for security to safeguard life and property of both staff and students in the college during the planned nationwide protest.

Therefore, all staff and students are requested to always be with their Identity Cards. The security unit is directed not to allow any person into the College without ID Card as from 5:00 pm today Wednesday 31 july, 2024, please.
