Aminu Dabo College Of Health Science announces Sallah reak

Aminu Dabo College of Health Sciences and Technology (AD-COHST) will close academic activities for a week short vacation from Sunday July 18 to Monday July 25, 2021 to celebrate this year's Eidil-Kabir Sallah.

The Provost of the College Sant Dr Hamza Garba who announced this said this was in compliance with the Kano State Government declaration of closure of all schools in the state to mark the occasion.

Addressing the staff and students of the College during a special interactive session held today at the College premises, the Provost Dr Hamza Garba said the College will re-open and continue full academic activities from Monday July 26, 3021.

The occasion was conducted in presence of all heads of various departments and units as well as other senior academic and non-academic staff as well as the students from the departments in the College.

In their separate contributions, the heads of the departments spoke primarily on college rules and regulations, ethical conduct, discipline and other matters relating to examination, students' dressing code, maintenance of a clean and tidy environment.

Among those who spoke included Pharm Mubarak Hussaini, Head of Pharmacy Technician Department and(Quality Assurance Officer), Scientist Adam Uba Muhammad (Chief Examinations Officer), Mal Aisar Sanusi HOD Community Health and Mal Usman Sabo Taura HOD Health Information Management.

Other Management staff members were Rdth Malama Amina Zakari Umar Head of Dental Health Sciences Department, Sant Nuraddeen Aliyu HOD Environmental Health Technician, Mls Abdulwasiu Olatunji HOD Medical Lab Technician, Mal Umar Abdullahi Acting HOD Dispensing Optianary and Mal Zakari Ibrahim Admin Officer.

Also, in their independent contributions during the session, the students described the session as very exciting, motivating, and informative, commending the management for organising the event.

The students also promised to be of good behaviour, discipline and adherence to the college rules and regulations at all times.
