The National Universities commission(NUC) has given FULL accreditation to all programmes being offered by Ajayi Crowther Universities. This was recently conveyed to the university by the commission.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole T. Jaiyeoba while reacting to the development, thanked the Almighty God for the great achievement and also appreciated the support of the Council, Management, Senate, Members of Staff and Students of the university. He enthused that by the grace of God, the University would go places and that the full accreditation status for all her programmes was just the beginning of better things to come. This was the first time since inception of the University that ALL her programmes would be given FULL accreditation.
Also reacting to the news, students of the University expressed their joy and happiness stressing that their dreams and aspiration of a well-rounded education was being actualized in the University. It would be recalled that Miss Folasade Olaniyan, one of the products of the University had the best result in the ICAN Examination. Also, Mr Charles Adewale was the best student in the Post Graduate Examination in the Department of Communication and Media in UNILAG in 2011.
in the meantime, the Senate of the University has approved the commencement of post Graduate Studies and new programmes as from the next academic session, in all the Faculties of the Institution.
Ajayi Crowther University is the first University established eight years ago by the Church of Nigeria(Anglican Communion).
