This is to notify the general public and all candidates, including military personnel, who selected the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Kaduna as their choice of Institution during the last JAMB UTME that the AFIT post-UTME screening will hold on Saturday 16 June 2012. JAMB candidates who did not previously select AFIT as their choice of institution but are desirous of gaining admission into the Institute are to equally prepare to participate in the screening exercise. 2. Every duly completed form is to be accompanied by a bank deposit slip, evidencing due payment of N3,500.00 into AFIT Academic Branch Bank Account (Ecobank plc Account Number 0044393642). Candidates who are unable to come physically to AFIT before 14 June 2012 are to scan the completed form and bank deposit slip only and thereafter mail to [email protected] in order to be registered for the examination. Candidates are NOT to post the hard copy of completed application form and bank deposit slip but rather submit them by hand to the AFIT Academic Branch Registry NLT 14 June 2012 or at the venue of the examination.
3. Similarly, all candidates intending to pursue the pre-ND and Civil & Environmental Engineering Technology (CEET) Certificate programmes in AFIT, and had submitted completed application forms, are to prepare to write their entrance examination on the same date. Details of venue and timings are as follows:
Date: Saturday 16 June 2012.
Venue: AFIT’s premises at the Nigerian Air Force Base Kaduna.
Time: 8am prompt (Please note that no late arrival shall be tolerated).
4. All candidates intending to participate in the post-UTME screening exercise and the AFIT Entrance Examination are to come along with necessary materials such as biros, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, rulers and electronic calculators. The Institute will, however, provide the examination booklets for all candidates. All candidates are to note that the use of mobile telephones and other such communications devices will not be allowed inside the examination hall, even for the purpose of calculating.
