The Governing Council of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Nduufu-Alike, Ebonyi state, has appointed Barr. Titus Ifeanyi Igwe, as the 3rd substantive Registrar of the University, with effect from 15th February, 2023. The appointment was approved by Council at its 38th Extraordinary Meeting held on Thursday, 12th January, 2023.
Igwe will be taking over from Odisa C. Okeke (Mrs.) whose tenure will be ending on 14th February, 2023. Until his appointment, Igwe was a Deputy Registrar (Legal Matters) in Imo State University, Owerri.
He obtained a Master’s degree (LLM) and Bachelor’s Degree (LLB) in Law from Abia State University, Uturu in 2006 and 1999 respectively. He has over 30 years’ cognate experience in the university system.
Igwe is a member of many professional bodies, including Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration, Member, Nigerian Bar Association, Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Member, Association of Nigeria University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), and Accredited Member, Association of University Administrators, United Kingdom. He has also authored many conferences papers.
Barr. Titus Ifeanyi Igwe hails from Umuokparaoha, Umulolo in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State. He is married with three children.
