The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) of the Plateau State University Bokkos Branch has commenced an indefinite industrial action from today 9th November, 2023. The strike was announced in a letter sighted by our sources, which was signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Union respectively. Contents of the letter below;

The above subject matter refers. Following the request of our branch to embark on a strike over an resolved local issues and the visitation by the National Executive Council Team, ASUU National President has granted our Branch an approval to embark on a Total, Comprehensive and indefinite Strike, Consequently, at our Congress meeting held today 9th November 2023, we write to notify you to proceed on the local strike action from today until all the items in contention are resolved.
