In line with the provisions of Part 1 (1) (xiii) of the Examination Management/Examination Regulations, the Senate of Ahmadu Bello University has approved the schedule for 2023/2024 Special Resit Examinations at its 539th (Regular) meeting held on Thursday, 29th August, 2024 as follows
1. Mon. 21st Oct., 2024 to Sat. 26th Oct., 2024 - Registration
2. Mon. 21 Oct., 2024 to Sat. 2nd Nov., 2024 - Revision
3. Mon. 4th Nov., 2024 to Sat. 9th Nov., 2024 - Examination
- Registration:N10,000.00
- Charges per course by a student: N5,000.00
Note:
1. The Special Resit Examination is granted to the following categories of students who are unable to graduate:
i) Final year students with not more than four (4) outstanding courses to graduate. However, the resit is optional for final year students whose residency has not expired.
ii) The 300 level, 500 level and 600 level students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
iii) The 300 level students of pre-clinical programmes in the College of Medical Sciences.
2. In a Special Resit Examination, the maximum score that can be obtained is the minimum pass score i.e. 40% for classified degrees and 50% for unclassified degrees.
