Eligibility Requirements
Please note, ABU DOES NOT accept awaiting result. You must have meet the following:
(1) ONLY Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2024 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) their First Choice Institution, are eligible for post UTME screening exercise.
(2) In addition, each candidate must possess credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language at not more than two (2) sittings. Check HERE for list of JAMB approved courses and their correct subject combination.
(3) Direct Entry candidates must be holders of A’Level/ND/NCE/HND/First Degree in relevant discipline and subjects.

Post UTME Candidates are to login with their JAMB Registration Number and State of Origin as username and password respectively.

Step 1 – If you are a new applicant (Not PUTME Candidate), you need to create a profile and later select the type of form you wish to buy. If you already have an account, login with your credentials to purchase a form of your choice.
Step 2 – You will be required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2000.00) only as screening fee.
Step 3 – Payment can either be made via Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, verve and Master Card) OR by printing the Remita retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceed to any commercial Bank.
Step 4 – Take the RRR number and logon to ABU Zaria portal to continue with your application.
Step 5 – Fill all necessary information correctly and click the SUBMIT button after confirming all data are correct.
Step 6 – Print out your slip as it would be needed for your post UTME screening test.
