The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria has matriculated over 5,000 postgraduate students for 2014/2015 Academic Session.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Ibrahim Garba, speaking at the event said the institution was making huge effort towards improving delivery of various postgraduate programmes of the school.
“As a new administration, the task of repositioning the university to regain its glory as a centre of academic excellence has commenced in earnest. In our bid to improve the delivery of PG Studies, regulations governing higher degree studies have recently been revised. Postgraduate studies would be a focal point in a bid to make ABU one of the best universities, therefore, all hands must be on deck in order for this task to be achieved.” Garba said.
