ABU gets new DVC (Administration)

Prof Ahmed Doko Ibrahim of the Department of Quantity Surveying is now the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Administration, Ahmadu Bello University.

His emergence followed his election at the 507th (Emergency) Meeting of Senate held at Mamman Kontagora Square today soon after his nomination by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kabiru Bala.

This is just as Prof Danladi Amodu Ameh returned as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, following his renomination by the Vice-Chancellor.

Prof Doko is succeeding Prof Sadiq Z Abubakar whose tenure expired today.

Until his election, the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, was the Director, Directorate of University Advancement. Prof Doko was a one-time Managing Director of Ahmadu Bello University Consultancy Services better known as ABUCONS.

Prof Ameh is coming for a second and final term of two years as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic.
