The Vice Chancellor, Professor E. Uche Ikonne, has expressed the willingness of the University to partner Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA), in the establishment of a Business School in Aba.
Professor Ikonne disclosed this during a courtesy visit by ACCIMA Executives at the conference room of the University.
He thanked the team on behalf of Management and Senate for the proposal, stressing the need to narrow the gap between Industry and classroom, while calling for the establishment of an Aba Stock Exchange, which will raise the level of enterprise in the commercial city.
Earlier, the President of ACCIMA, Rtn, Andy Obasi had asked for collaboration and assistance of the University in the establishment of a Business School which will help grow businesses in the City.
