ABSU Vice Chancellor tasks members on commitment and team spirit

The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor O. M Ogbulu has charged staff members of the Faculty of Business Administration(FBA) to show more commitment to their work and imbibe a team spirit as a show of support for his administration.

Professor Ogbulu, who stated this, when a delegation of Staff members from FBA, paid him a courtesy visit Wednesday 9th December 2020 at the Conference room of his office, expressed joy at their visit, and assured them that his new position and appurtenances of the office will not make him change or affect his cordial relationship with the staff.

He stated that his administration will continue with the positive change agenda of his predecessor, Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne, especially in the areas of Academic Excellence, Staff and Students welfare, Improvement of Physical Facilities, Research and Capacity building, Security, ICT development, Discipline, Community Service, Alumni relationship and much more.

The Vice Chancellor thanked the Governor and Visitor to the University for his appointment, which he said was divinely orchestrated, and gave assurance that he will not betray the confidence reposted on him, while advising the Staff to always abide by the rules and regulations of the University.

Earlier, the leader of the team, and Acting Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Dr Ndukwe O. Dibia, explained that they came to congratulate the Vice Chancellor on his new appointment, as well as reassure him of their total loyalty and support. 

In a vote of thanks, the Head of Department, Banking and Finance, Dr S. U Okanta thanked God for making the Faculty proud once more by the appointment of another member of their Faculty as Vice Chancellor, and appreciated the Vice Chancellor for the warm reception.

Highlight of the visit was a presentation to the Vice Chancellor by Dr C. E Udensi, on behalf of the faculty. The members of Management were present at the meeting.
