This is to inform those that took the ABC Transport scholarship test on 3rd March 2012 that 177 Candidates have been successfully shortlisted. This was revealed on the official facebook page of the company.
ABC transport says, the 177 candidates will be sent an SMS, inviting them for a penultimate test which comes up on March 24, 2012 by 10a.m prompt in Owerri, Imo State.
Applicants that are from far far away, the northern and western parts of Nigeria will be given free return tickets to enable them participate in the test.
Contacted applicants should visit any ABC terminal nearest to your location (with the SMS sent to you) and meet the Station Head for the tickets.
A list of the shortlisted applicants has been
sent to the Station Heads of the terminals in Kaduna, Abuja, Gwagwalada, Lokoja, Ibadan, Bolade, Jibowu, Amuwo and Benin.
So many applicant were complaining of the date clashing with Jamb date, 24th March. Well the truth is if you are truly qualified for the scholarship, you should already be a student. The scholarship is meant for students, not aspirants. Possibly, that's the idea.
A good move by one of the leading transport companies in Nigeria. We're hoping more individuals and corporate bodies will learn from such motivating programmes geared towards improving the standard of education in Nigeria.
