Following the commencement of in-person academic activities at the main campus of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, the acting vice-chancellor of the institution, Prof. Olugbenga Ige has been pictured going around the school to ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
Akungba reminded both staff and students of the new policy of ‘no mask, no service’.
The university management had announced Monday, January 18, 2021, as the resumption date for academic activities, while first semester examinations were billed to commence the following week.
He tasked the various Deans and Heads of Department to ensure strict adherence to the measures put in place to prevent the spread of the virus. He noted that everyone must make use of the sanitizers, water, and soap provided by the institution at the various entry points and major buildings.
