AAUA reschedules exams affected by public holidays

This is to inform all members of staff and students of the University that the Federal Government has declared Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st July, 2021 as public holidays to celebrate Ed-el-Kabir.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga E. IGE, has therefore directed that the University be closed down for official duties on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st July, 2021 except those on essential duties. All members of staff and students are requested to note that official activities resume on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021.

The Vice Chancellor has also directed that the examinations affected by the two-day public holidays be rescheduled for 2nd and 3rd August, 2021. However, this shift does not affect the Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Law, as the Sub-Deans of the two Faculties will effect the shift as appropriate.

On behalf of the Vice Chancellor, I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters and the entire members of staff and students happy and peaceful holiday.

Thank you.
