AAU SUG notice to students on COVID-19 protocol as school resumes

I bring Solidarity greetings from the Office of the Students Union Government Director of Information Ambrose Alli University. After months of preparation and a great deal of hard work and planning, the time we've all been anticipating is finally here.

Today, the University begins a shift toward more normalized operations on campus. This has been referred to as "soft opening".

Nearly 11 months ago, tertiary institutions/Schools at all levels in the Country were shut down by the Federal Government due to the outburst of the dreaded Novel Covid-19 virus.

As we make the transition back to campus, there are a few things to keep in mind, Some Devices and Techniques have been put in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19 on the Campus of Ambrose All University Ekpoma upon Resumption like;

- Fumigation of school environment and class rooms

- Providing Hand Sanitizer

- Providing Washing handbasin

In line with these Rules and Regulations Students are hereby informed to follow this.

1. Putting on a Nose mask inside the school and class premises most especially in a gathering of more than 8 people.

2 Dress Properly before entering inside the school to avoid embarrassment because you will be addressed the way you dress.

3. Make sure you clean up the conveniences and urinary building immediately after using.

We all have a part to play, and I am asking each of you to fulfill your role by wearing a mask, practicing physical distancing, washing your hands frequently and use good judgment regarding social activities.

Our daily choices will directly affect the lives of our friends, families, and colleagues, and support a successful semester.

We wish Students of Ambrose Alli University safe and peaceful journey back to Campus
