To improve the academic culture, enhance capacity building and introduce online learning methods for students of Ambrose Alli University in line with global best practices, the Senate of the Ambrose Alli University, at its 319th regular meeting, approved the commencement of the Short online certificate course program also referred to as e-studies (e-ST) as part of the training process for Students of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma effective from March 1st 2022.
As part of the students’ orientation processes, all newly admitted students must visit the university’s e-learning portal (aauekpoma.dexuni.com) to enrol for the course(s) of their choice while awaiting resumption on campus. This is mandatory.
The List of the e-ST courses is into three categories:
- Soft skill courses
- IT/Software courses
- Professional courses
The details of the various courses in each category and the course curriculum are available on the e-learning portal (aauekpoma.dexuni.com).
The Senate also approved the following registration fees for the e-ST courses as follows:
- A fee of ten thousand (N10,000:00) only for students enrolling in only one (1) of the short online certificate courses.
- A fee of five thousand naira (N5,000:00) only per course for students offering more than one of the short online certificate courses.
All payments are to be made on the e-learning portal.

An e-certificate will be issued on the successful completion of any course. The e-certificate will be required for subsequent post-admission processes and documentation.
