Seventy-six inmates of old Abeokuta Custodial Centre, Ibara, Ogun state, have joined the list of prisoners who acquired higher education while serving their jail term.
The Nigerian Correctional Service revealed the recent graduands on their social media page while sharing photos from the graduation ceremony.
The Ogun state controller of NCoS, Mojeed Olaniran, while celebrating with the graduands of NCE from Yewa Central College of Education (YCCE), tasked them to make good use of the opportunity presented to them.
Olaniran further disclosed that the service is committed to partner with individuals and organizations for the reformation of the inmates in its custody.
