The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, on Tuesday, 4 January disclosed that not less than 732 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) batch B, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. Mustapha at a task force briefing said the COVID-19 test was conducted on the corps members using Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDTs).
A total of 35,419 people in the Batch B set were tested, and 731 returned positive. The recorded cases cut across corps members from every state of the federation.
NYSC camps for orientation activities were recently reopened after a period of shutdown following the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
