A 50-year-old secondary school teacher, Mosumade Olusola, appeared in an Osogbo Magistrates’ Court for allegedly damaging a motorcycle belonging to one Akinde Solomon.
The prosecutor, Insp. Abiodun Fagboyinbo, told the court that the accused committed the offence on Feb. 17 at Capital Hotel in Osogbo.
Fagboyinbo said the accused pushed the complainant’s motorcycle from where it was packed into a gutter, damaging it in the process.
He said the offence was contrary to and punishable under Section 451 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol.11 Laws of Osun 2003.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge and her counsel, Mr Maroof Adedeji, applied for her bail.

The Magistrate, Mrs Habibat Basiru, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with a surety in like sum.
Basiru added that the surety must be resident within the court’s jurisdiction, swear to affidavit of means and produce two passport photographs.
The case was adjourned to March 18 for definite hearing (NAN)
