Rufai Basirat Oluwadamilola, an indigene of Ogun state who emerged as the best graduating student from the Department of Pharmacy class of 2018/2019, University of Ibadan, has given an insight into her success story.
The 22-year old recent graduate bagged distinctions in all Pharmacy courses and scored an impressive 6.9 CGPA in a 7.0 grading system to emerge as the best graduating student in the department with first-class honor.
According to Rufai, at first, she found pharmacy school challenging and was almost discouraged in her 200-level after scoring very low in some courses which affected her CGPA. She however attributed her success to her reading culture which improved in 300, 400, and 500 levels respectively.
She also praised her family, loved ones, and lecturers for being with her at each step of the journey.
