2017 UTME: Matriculated Students Are Not Allowed To Register – JAMB PRO

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that candidates who have gone through matriculation ceremony in any tertiary institution are not allowed to take part in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

He made this know during a phone interview with newsmen on Monday.

He mentioned that such students if they wish to change to another course or department, they should buy the inter-faculty transfer form in their school instead of purchasing UTME form.

Concerning calls to extend the registration deadline for 2017 UTME due to some hitches,  the JAMB PRO stated that JAMB has already put measures in place to prevent the hitches.

“We registered 600,000 candidates in 10 days and if we go on at this pace, it means we would have registered 1.2million in 20 days. We want Nigerians to be patient and every eligible candidate will be registered by April 19, when the registration will close.” He stated.
