If you have been wondering whether the ongoing ASUU strike will affect this year’s admission process, it might interest you to know that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has assured that the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) would not affect this year’s admission process.
JAMB’s Head of information, Dr Fabian Benjamin gave this assurance during an interview with newsmen.
He mentioned that JAMB is currently partnering with other stake holders to come up all necessary information that will guide prospective candidates to complete admission processes into the institutions of their choice.
It would be recalled that ASUU last week went on indefinite strike over Government’s inability to implement the agreement it reached with the union since 2009.
